She is Mafe Magurno
María Fernanda Magurno, aka Mafe, is a marketing and communication expert with more than 18 years of experience in her field. She has also spent a lifetime creating and recreating her home spaces and hosting memorable events for her family and friends.
Driven by her passion for interior design and hosting gatherings, Mafe, had a vision. She saw that her passion could transcend personal enjoyment and become a platform to connect with a community of like-minded women. This vision led to the birth of The House of Maggie.
Her Story
As the daughter of Italians, Mafe's love for well-designed spaces, comforting home cuisine, and the generosity and love of home is not just inherited, but deeply ingrained in her. She is the wife of a Venezuelan artist and musician, a mother of two wonderful children, and a sweet chocolate-colored dog named Maggie. These personal connections to her life and work are what fuel her passion and dedication to interior design.
In 2022, she started designing and nurturing The House of Maggie with the desire to share her love for home and her unique style in interior design aimed at fostering an environment of calm and joy in which life passes between memorable moments, fluid routines, and special celebrations in which traditions, the classic and the contemporary merge at the service of family connection, and the enjoyment of small pleasures.

Mafe's style is a fusion of her Venezuelan upbringing, Italian heritage, and love for Californian decor. This unique blend is reflected in our offerings, where spaces with neutral and organic palettes, natural materials, rich textures, and ample natural lighting create a unique energy that's conducive to living.
